Terms of service

Who we are

saveapi.org is operated by Turginboyev Ahror, sole proprietor, Tashkent, Uzbekistan ("we", "us"). These terms are the agreement between you and us for the use of the site and the API. By creating an account or buying a credit pack you accept them, together with our Refund Policy and Privacy Policy.

The service

saveapi.org resolves a public social-media link into direct media URLs and metadata. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or operated by any of the platforms we can resolve links for.

Your account and keys

• +You need an account to get an API key. One person or organisation, one account.
• +Your keys are yours to protect. Anything done with a key counts as done by you, so keep keys on your server and never in code that ships to a browser or an app.
• +A key is shown once, at creation. If you lose it, revoke it and create another.

Acceptable use

The API resolves links to content that other people made. You are responsible for having the right to use whatever you download. In particular, you agree not to:

• +Reproduce, republish or monetise content you do not own or have a licence for.
• +Use the API to collect personal data about individuals, or to build profiles of them.
• +Resell raw access to the API as your own competing API.
• +Work around credit limits or rate limits — for example by cycling through accounts or keys.
• +Use the service for anything illegal where you are, or where we operate.

If a platform or a rights holder asks us to stop resolving specific content, we will comply.

Credits and billing

• +Credits are bought in packs, not as a monthly quota. Each pack carries a number of credits and a per-minute rate limit; the current figures are on the pricing section of the home page and in your dashboard.
• +Each request is priced before it runs, as shown on the pricing page. A link the platform itself refuses (private or deleted post) costs 0.1 credit; invalid links, timeouts and failures on our side are not charged.
• +Payments top up your account balance; packs are bought from that balance. A pack's credits stay valid for the number of days shown on the pricing page, counted from the day you bought it. A pack renews only if you turn on auto-renew, and then only from money already on your balance — nothing is charged to a card or wallet on its own. Credits left over when a pack expires are not carried into the next one. The balance can only be spent on packs and is not paid out as cash, except as described in the refund policy.
• +We may change prices. A pack you already bought keeps the price you paid for its whole validity; a new price only applies to packs bought after the change.
• +Prices are shown in US dollars. Where sales tax or VAT applies to your billing country, it is added at checkout.

Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle provides all customer service inquiries and handles returns.

Card payments are therefore made to Paddle, which is the seller of record and issues the invoice; the charge appears on your statement as PADDLE.NET* SAVEAPI. Refunds are handled under our Refund Policy and carried out by Paddle. Crypto payments are processed by NOWPayments and are not covered by Paddle.

Availability

We do not currently offer a service level agreement. The service depends on third-party platforms that change without notice, and a platform can break resolution for its own content at any time. We work to restore it quickly, but we do not promise uninterrupted availability, and we do not guarantee that any particular link can be resolved.

We may change or withdraw endpoints. Where a change would break working integrations, we will give notice and keep the old behaviour available for a reasonable period.

Suspension

We may suspend a key or an account that breaches these terms, that threatens the stability of the service, or that we are legally required to suspend. Where circumstances allow, we will tell you why and give you a chance to put it right.

Liability

The service is provided as is. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, lost profit, or loss of data. Where we are liable, our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

Ending the agreement

You may stop using the service and delete your account at any time. If we end the agreement without cause, we refund the unused credits of any active pack. Refunds you ask for are governed by our Refund Policy.
